Supports Wolfe for County Commission

Debbie Vancil may believe (“Supports Streissguth for County Commission,” page A5, Oct. 17 Herald) that a system where those in office get to pick a replacement county commissioner will result in getting the best, as is the game played by the Courthouse Club.

I do not.

The best come from standing for election as a candidate where we select from the top two. Clearly, the best qualified is Ed Wolfe, who outdistanced the appointee by 8 points in the primary.

Please vote for quality, experience, and wisdom. Vote for Ed Wolfe for County Commission, District 3.
