Bremerton teen hopes to earn state crown

Bremerton’s Dwadria Gordon, 16, is hoping to become Miss Washington Teen USA.

Dwadria has already earned the Bremerton crown and is hoping to tally more votes than any of her competitors across the state. Supporters can vote for her at misswashingtonusa.com.

Dwadria attends Bremerton High School and was recently accepted into the West Sound Tech Nursing program which is a step closer towards her future aspirations of becoming a neurosurgeon or a plastic surgeon.

She says that after overcoming an abusive childhood, she’s excelled greatly in school by taking challenging Advanced Placement courses and Running Start. She’s an active member in the community and enjoys singing, track and cheer. She thanks her sponsors, Tom Johnston and Hudson Photographic Artistry, for all of their support.
