Softball team had a great run

Congratulations to the District 2 Gig Harbor Little League 11- and 12-year-old majors softball team.

Gig Harbor won district and then state, and went to San Bernardino, California for the regionals.

They were 17-0 as they went into the regional championship game. They lost to Chino, California, 8-4.

They had a great run. I am so proud of them and their hard work to get that far.

In the semi-final game, Adie Warner had a perfect game, 4-0. She had the first perfect game at San Bernardino in more than 30 years.
