Logs on semi’s trailer strikes Kingston ferry toll booth; no injuries

KINGSTON — Logs on a trailer being pulled by a semi struck a toll booth at the Kingston ferry landing June 2 about 4:59 p.m.

There were no injuries. The driver of the 2004 Kenworth tractor-trailer was cited for having an oversized load, according to Washington State Patrol.

According to state patrol, the truck entered the Kingston ferry terminal pulling into toll booth lane No. 2. As the truck exited the toll booth lane, it turned slightly to the left and the logs struck toll booth No. 1.
