Local sports bar runner-up in best of award

Everybody’s American Cookhouse and Sports Theater was the runner-up for the Best Sport Bar in the KING 5’s Evening Magazine Best of Western Washington Contest.

Carter’s Chocolate was fifth in the Best Ice Cream Shop category and sixth for the Best Chocolate.

Bay Street Bistro was 11th for Best Fine Dining, Amy’s on the Bay was 18th for Best New American, The ITT Factor Music Performance Studios was 18th for Best Dance Studio, MoonDogs, Too was 19th for Best Neighborhood Tavern, Paperbacks Plus was 19th for Best Bookstore and Airport Diner was 20th for Best Greasy Spoon.

There were more than 508,000 votes for more than 21,000 nominations in the 218 categories. The winners were announced Nov. 8.
