Thorn Cheyney

Thorn Cheyney, 81, died Sept. 5, 2013.
He was born to Thorn Sr. and Marie Cheyney in Glenwood, Iowa.
Thorn graduated from Peninsula High School in 1949.
He was a veteran of the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1954. Thorn married Ina Beglau in 1955.
Thorn was a pipefitter and ships superintendent before retiring from PERA CV.
He is survived by his wife, Ina; three daughters, Arlene (Jeff) Comer, Debbie Bell and Patty (Abe) Pallanes; a son, Bruce (Becky) Cheyney; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren
Memorial service is set for 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 22, at Crosby Chapel, 16404 Church Rd NW, Seabeck.
