KINGSTON – A 73 year-old Kingston man was transported to Harrison Hospital in Bremerton on Monday afternoon after he crashed his older SUV in front of North Kitsap Fire & Rescue’s South Kingston Road station.

NKF&R crews were inside their building when they heard the sounds of the crash while passersby also called 911, just after 1 p.m. Monday afternoon. Arriving on the scene, firefighters called for additional resources to extricate the man from his crumpled vehicle and to ensure he received the appropriate medical care. Deputies from the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the incident’s cause.
