KINGSTON — Robert  S. “Bobby” Johnson died peacefully at his home in Kingston on March 21 with wife Kathie and son Terry at his side. He was 76.

Born on July 22, 1935 in Poulsbo to Christ and Lenore Johnson. Attended Kingston grade school, North Kitsap junior and senior high schools. Longshoreman for 31 years.

Belonged to several tractor clubs as well as the Kingston and Poulsbo historical societies and ILWU. Avid collector of cars and John Deere tractors, often attending tractor shows and pulls.

Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kay Dilger-Johnson; and siblings Art and Marie Anderson.

Survived by wife, Kathie Dahlin; sons, Terry Dahlin and Mike Watkins; daughter, Cherie Dilger Rogers; caregivers, Chrissy Childers and Chris Watkins; beloved cat, Minnie.

Celebration of life, April 7, 1 p.m., S’Klallam Tribal Center on Little Boston Road. Memorials preferred to Hospice of Kitsap County or the Humane Society.
