Local students earn collegiate honors

Lambert on Dean’s list at St. Martin’s
LACEY — Kristina J. Lambert of Poulsbo earned placement on the fall semester Dean’s List at Saint Martin’s University.

Lambert is a senior majoring in political science.

Saint Martin’s University is located on a 380-acre wooded campus in Lacey. Established in 1895 by the Catholic Order of Saint Benedict, the university is one of 14 Benedictine colleges and universities in the United  States and Canada, and the only one west of the Rocky Mountains. To earn academic honors at Saint Martin’s, undergraduate students must receive a 3.5 grade point average or higher (based on a 4.0 scale) and carry at least a 12 semester-hour course load.

Area residents are WSU graduates
PULLMAN — The following North Kitsap residents graduated from Washington State University in fall.

— Kingston: Matthew Douglas Keller, bachelor of arts in criminal justice, magna cum laude.

— Poulsbo: Michael Devin Gottschalk, bachelor of science in civil engineering, cum laude; Kevin Michael Joines, bachelor of science in neuroscience; Siri Mae Lofall, bachelor of arts in social sciences; Lara Ann McLaughlin, residency teaching certificate, bachelor of arts in education; Cameron David White, bachelor of science in mechanical engineering, cum laude; Ashton Brooke Whited, bachelor of science in psychology, magna cum laude.
