Sex offender arrested for probation violation

David J. L. Darby, 26, a level 3 sex offender was arrested April 16 by the Bremerton Police Department on a probation violation warrant and is in custody, the department reported. Darby had reported a new address on Warren Avenue but didn’t live there, according to the department.

In 2005, Darby was convicted of third-degree rape of a child and communicating with a minor for immoral purposes after sexually assaulting two 14-year-old females who were known to him.
