Reader thinks Appleton was right on

I applaud Rep. Sherry Appleton for not allowing herself to be intimidated by threatening emails from a group that calls itself Americans for Prosperity. Evelyn Baker’s was one of many identical emails sent by the group.

By quoting Rep. Appleton out of context, Ms. Baker seems more interested in personally attacking Rep. Appleton than in engaging in constructive dialogue. Rep. Appleton has made it clear that being fiscally responsible should not mean turning our backs on children and families in need.
