Ken Green

Ken Green of Poulsbo died Dec. 8 at Harrison Medical Center of acute pancreatitis.
Green was born Feb. 26, 1946, in Springfield, Colo. to Chester and Rosetta (Gorges) Green. He attended Alameda High School in Denver.
He joined the Navy in 1964 and was a Vietnam veteran. After returning from the Navy he married Carol Johnson in Glenwood Springs, Colo., on Nov. 25, 1967. They lived in Colorado, Montana and then settled in Poulsbo, WA. At the time of his passing he worked for NAVFAC-NW.
Some of his other interests were NASCAR, square dancing, 4-H, career and technical education, and his church. He was an active member in the Kitsap County Woodcarvers.
He is survived by his father, Chester (Daphne); his brothers Darrell (Annea) and Larry (Roxie) of Denver; and a large extended family.
A celebration of his life was Dec. 12 at the North Kitsap Baptist Church.
