Bridget Feighan

Bridget Feighan of Poulsbo died May 3 in Bremerton. She was 57.

Feighan was born to Edward and Loretta Feighan in Philadelphia on Feb. 19, 1952.

Feighan married Jeffrey Drescher on July 13, 1991, in Salt Lake City.

She graduated from E. Root High School in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1970 and Kent State University in Ohio in 1974 with a bachelor’s degree in speech/language.

She also earned her master’s degree in education in 1986.

From 1976 to 1985 she was a special education teacher in the Jordan School District in Salt Lake City, then from 1986 to 2003 she was an elementary principal in the same school district.

She enjoyed hiking, kayaking, fishing, watercolor and pastel painting, skiing and bicycling.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff Drescher of Poulsbo.
