Local chambers’ Celebrate Summer Party postponed

The Celebrate Summer Party with Northwest Boat Rentals at the Bremerton Marina has been cancelled due to the possibility of inclement weather.

The event, sponsored by area chambers of commerce — including Bremerton, Silverdale and Port Orchard — was scheduled for 4:30-7:30 p.m. today, Tuesday, Aug. 19.

The event has been postponed and will possibly be rescheduled for a day in September.
