EAGLE HARBOR READINGS: Jane Bay presents her true story “Love and Loss: A Story About Life, Death and Rebirth,” 7:30 p.m. Sept. 21. Book tells the story of Bay and her Tibetan foster daughter, who is forced to return to Tibet, then dies shortly after they are reunited and ready to come to the United States.

Arielle Eckstut and David Henry Sterry present “Putting Your Passion Into Print: Get Your Book Published Successfully!,” 3 p.m. Sept. 24. Book is based on this husband-and-wife team’s publishing seminar at Stanford and gives information for writers of all genres on everything a writer needs to know to get published. SENIOR CLASSES: Bremerton Parks and Recreation hosts classes for seniors ages 55 and older at the Bremerton Senior Center, 1140 Nipsic, Bremerton. GAMBLERS ANONYMOUS: People with gambling problems in their families are invited to attend meetings of Gam-Anon at 7 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at the North Kitsap Baptist Church, 20516 Little Valley Road N.E., Poulsbo. The group’s purpose is to learn acceptance and understanding of the gaming illness; to give the appropriate aid to the gambler; and, upon recovery, then to give assistance to those who suffer.
