Ron Appleton, 75

Ron Appleton of Poulsbo died Aug. 7, 2006. He was 75.

Appleton served extensively in the United States Navy, where he earned a Bronze Star.

He is survived by his wife Rep. Sherry Appleton of Poulsbo; five children; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Aug. 10 at the Stone Chapel 22272 Foss Rd. in Poulsbo.
