Kitsap Soccer Club announces 2017 season schedule

Preseason kicks off May 6; NPSL regular season begins May 20 at home

BREMERTON — Kitsap Soccer Club announced Feb. 22 its full schedule for the 2017 season, including three preseason matches, 10 NPSL regular season games and potential playoff dates. The season begins with a May 6 preseason match against Harbor Soccer Club, and the regular season kicks off at home on May 20 against the Spokane Shadow.

The club embarks on its first season in the NPSL in 2017, where it will face each of the other five Northwest Conference opponents both at home and away. Further friendlies are possible during the season, but they will be announced at a later date, as will the club’s player signings for its inaugural campaign in its new league.

Teams across the West Region will be paired off for the first round of the NPSL playoffs, with two guaranteed spots being granted to the Northwest Conference. The Golden Gate Conference will also be given two, and the Southwest will have three. One further wild card spot across all three divisions will be given to the remaining team with the highest points-per-game ratio to account for the divisions’ varying regular season schedules in terms of matches played.

Kitsap SC season tickets are on sale now at www.kitsapsoccerclub.com. Adults can purchase tickets to every home game, including preseason and playoff matches, for less than $50.
