Kitsap SC hosts free soccer clinics at Poulsbo’s Strawberry Field

Clinics offer chance for young players to interact with players, improve their skills

POULSBO — Kitsap Soccer Club will host a series of Friday night soccer clinics, in partnership with North Kitsap Soccer Club, at Strawberry Field in Poulsbo.

The clinics are free and open to all. Players need not have any club affiliation to participate.

The clinics are a great chance for young players to interact with members of Kitsap SC while developing their soccer skills. There will also be ticket giveaways and visits from Kitsap SC mascot Pedro.

“We’re excited about the chance to connect with young people in Kitsap County who love to play soccer, and there’s no better way to do it than to give them a place to play for free on Fridays during our season,” Kitsap SC associate head coach Liviu Bird said in an announcement of the clinics.

“We’re grateful to North Kitsap Soccer Club for their partnership on this and for providing us with a field, and we look forward to seeing everybody at Strawberry Field.”

The clinics will take place on May 19, June 2, June 9, June 23, June 30, July 7 and July 14. The May 19 clinic will begin at 7 p.m., while the rest will start at 6:30 p.m.
