Larry passed away at his home just outside of Del Rio, Texas. July 6 after a long illness. He was born March 18, 1951 to Leo and Agnes Zahrowski in Bremerton, Washington.

Larry grew up in Port Orchard and graduated from South Kitsap in 1970. He enlisted in the Air Force and served as a military Police Dog handler with multiple tours in Da Nang Vietnam. He also worked as a Nuclear Rigger at PSNS and Norfolk ship yards until his early retirement in 1997, He had a love for family, friends, HUNTING, FISHING and of course his dogs. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister’s Donna and Mary. Larry is survived by his wife Margaret of 30 years, daughter Kresta, son Jason, sister’s Bernice (Neal) Welch, Nettie Zahrowski and Carol (Bert) Hanson.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on August 12 at the Family Worship Center 3649 W. Frontage Rd. Port Orchard WA 98367. A reception will immediately follow the service.
