Our dad, Joel Brian Morse, age 52, passed away on June 6, 2017 at St Anthony Hospital in Gig Harbor after battling lung cancer.

He grew up in Kingston until his later years, he moved to King County and proudly work for the Union, Local 528, as a cement finisher. He built the Harbor Steps, new Husky Stadium and many other iconic Seattle locations. You might recognize his work by his signature he put in wet cement. A notorious jokester. With his genuine childhood enthusiasm and contagious laugh he could get away with just about anything.

Our dad’s passions were climbing and falling trees, fishing, sneaking his grandkids ice cream and teaching them how to dirt bike, riding horses and being around family.

He was innovative and had a pure heart. Our dad saw the best in everyone and made friends everywhere he went.

Our dad will be deeply missed by his wife, Amy Morse, his children, Robert, Ashley, Chelsea and Brittany. His 11 grandkids, his surviving siblings and mother. As well as his childhood friend and mother to his children, Kristine Sage.

Our dad will be laid to rest at the Kingston cemetery. A celebration of his life will be on Aug. 6th 2PM at Sons of Norway in Poulsbo.
