Charlise Butler | Passages

KINGSTON — Charlise Butler of Pahrump, Nevada, joined her beloved Forrest (Bud) Butler on Dec. 15, passing at her home.

Charlise was born in Burbank, California in 1931. She raised four children and gave her time to her kids, who she stayed close with her whole life.

Once they were grown, she followed her dream. She went to North Seattle Community College and received her degree in art. She proceeded to paint beautiful oils, then moved to watercolor. She enjoyed arts of all kinds and mastered them all. She was a valued member of the art community in Pahrump as well as Kingston, Washington.

When she passed, there were still projects on her table to be finished.

Charlise battled cancer for the last 25 years and kept it at bay all that time. She was a very strong fighter for everything she believed in.

She is survived by her sons, Dennis Hardesty, Robert Hardesty, and John Hardesty; her daughter, Michele Bryan; and her stepchildren, Vicki Shupe, Mary Koontz, Sandra Darland, and Gary Butler. She leaves behind 21 grandchildren and countless great-grandchildren.

Remembrances to the American Cancer Society.
