Bruce A. Steinman

Bruce Alexander Steinman, 67, passed away at home on Aug. 24, 2016 surrounded by family. He was born Dec. 5, 1948 in Bremerton. He was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

He worked for Peninsula/Darrel Emel Tree Service until retiring in 2015 because of illness. On Aug. 4, 1979, he married Virginia and immediately became father to Aaron, Eric and Alisha. He also had daughter, Tirzah; and son, Josiah. He was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Mary Steinman; and an infant son, Josiah.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia; children, Aaron (Michelle) Thomas, Eric Thomas, Alisha Winder, and Tirzah (Doug) Anderson; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; siblings, Geraldine Feltenberger, Roger (Tami) Steinman, Darlene Olsen, Phyllis Metz, Patricia (Pat) Osborn, and Michelle (Mike) Osborn; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 10 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 4861 NE Lincoln Road, Poulsbo.
