PORT ORCHARD — Thanks in part to the work of community volunteers, Clayton Park has reopened with new playground chips and a revitalized grassy area aided by new topsoil.

Community volunteers provided the manpower to put down the ground materials. The city’s parks department also installed a new irrigation system.

Clayton Park is at 915 Dwight St. in Port Orchard.
