A Poulsbo woman suspected of driving under the influence when her vehicle flipped and crashed near her home on Fjord Drive near Sommerseth Street has entered a diversion program. Kristie D. Sabado pleaded not guilty on Sept. 6. Her lawyer, Steve Bennett of Silverdale, previously declined to comment about the case. The prosecutor is Lael Carlson.
Lawrence H. “Larry” Burt, 67, was found at Highway 303 and McWilliams Road in Bremerton, in front of Walgreens, according to Sheriff’s Lt. Earl Smith. A tipster made contact with him at the covered bus stop, and a deputy transported Burt to Harrison Medical Center for an evaluation.

Vietnam War nurse’s advice: Get screened and get help
Lawrence H. “Larry” Burt, 67, was last seen at 6:55 a.m. Thursday at an adult family home in the 7200 block of Bridle Vale Boulevard, where he has lived since September. Burt is described as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches, 160 pounds with short gray hair and blue eyes. He is reportedly wearing a dark colored baseball cap, white or crème colored jacket, blue jeans and tennis shoes.
