Multiple car collision on 305 near Bond Road

POULSBO — A southbound vehicle on Highway 305 lost control and crossed into oncoming traffic, striking two vehicles before colliding with an embankment and overturning around 3 p.m. Nov. 8.

According to a witness, the vehicle appeared to suddenly accelerate into the car ahead of it, before swerving into oncoming traffic and striking another vehicle, and colliding into a nearby embankment on the northbound side.

The collision caused northbound traffic to slow as emergency responders diverted two lanes of traffic while they worked to secure the scene and right the overturned vehicle.

Officers on the scene said there weren’t any fatalities, although one individual was taken away in an ambulance with what they referred to as minor injuries. Officers said they didn’t have reason to believe that drugs or alcohol were involved.
