Kralik takes over as Eatonville grid coach

EATONVILLE — Former South Kitsap High football coach Gavin Kralik will take to the field this fall as the new helmsman for Eatonville High School.

Kralik, who coached the 4A Wolves for the last two seasons, joins a stable 2A prep program that has had only two coaches in 40 seasons.

He also will teach physical education at Eatonville.

The former South Kitsap coach replaces George Fairhart, whose teams reached the state playoffs 13 times while coaching at Eatonville over 24 years. Cory Vartanian, previously the assistant coach at South Kitsap, moves into the head coaching seat there.
