The Kiwanis Club of Port Orchard partners with South Kitsap School District in a variety of ways. Each month, the Kiwanis Club honors outstanding junior high and high school students.

The students are nominated by teachers and administrators at each school and invited to a catered lunch with their family. The students are recognized at the meeting and presented with a check.
