Historic Downtown Poulsbo is decked out for the holidays

POULSBO — Historic Downtown Poulsbo is hosting several holiday events from now through Christmas Eve.

Weekends through Dec. 18: Carolers from North Kitsap High School will sing from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. most weekends through Dec. 18.

Saturdays through Dec. 24: Enjoy a free horse-drawn carriage ride downtown between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Weekends through Dec. 24: Visit and get your picture taken with Santa between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 3 p.m. Sundays through Dec. 24. Donations for Fishline will be accepted.

Dec. 3: View and purchase Scandinavian arts and crafts at the Scandinavian Bazaar, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 3 at the Sons of Norway Lodge.

Dec. 3: Jule Fest begins at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 3 at Muriel Iverson Williams Waterfront Park. Vikings will escort the Lucia Bride to where the yule log will be lit. Miss Poulsbo will light the Christmas tree. Santa will help close out the evening.

Dec. 8: Enjoy a two-hour evening cruise on the Argosy Cruises Christmas Ship, Dec. 8. The North Kitsap Northern Lights choir will entertain. Tickets: www.argosycruises.com.

Dec. 17: Galleries will present holiday cheer, music and art at the Second Saturday Artwalk, 5-8 p.m., Dec. 17.
