PORT ORCHARD — Kitsap County’s Department of Community Development is transitioning to an online permitting process. All permits will be available online by Jan. 31.

Later this month, the department will provide training opportunities to learn about the new process. From 12-1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 23, a training session will be conducted in the Eagles Nest Community Room, 1195 NW Fairgrounds Rd., in Bremerton.

Next month, at 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 1, a session will be held at the Kitsap County Administration Building, Commissioners Chambers, 614 Division St., in Port Orchard.
