Poulsbo Community Orchestra thanks you

The Poulsbo Community Orchestra, now almost three years old, extends its heartiest “thanks” to those 585-plus attendees at the recent Fishline Holiday Concert. Three barrels were filled with food, and Fishline’s cash receipts were almost $800.

The decision to rent North Kitsap Community Auditorium, the new performance venue for the orchestra, provided a comfortable, accessible, and acoustically-friendly hall for friends and families that Sunday afternoon.

Also serving to make this event a success were our youth soloists, local Boy Scout and Girl Scout ushers, musician family members, Mary Nader and her Fishline volunteers, and school district staff. We have come a long way since our first concert in June 2014 at City Hall with an audience of about 75.

We further extend to our West Sound community our wishes for an enjoyable and safe holiday season — and a reminder that our next concert is April 2 in the North Kitsap Auditorium.
