My thanks and respect to the North Kitsap Herald for printing a letter recently that mentioned the ongoing controversy regarding the tragedies of 9/11.
I am writing this letter in reference to the article, “Mohler: Buc Field never meant for games,” page A8, June 21 Herald.
Because of the dedication of so many, the heart of Breidablik will continue to beat in every school in the district.
It is with surprise and disappointment that I see the Herald giving column space to provide a platform for absurd 9/11 conspiracy “theories” (“The conspiracy behind Sept. 11,” [age A7, June 14 Herald).
In regards to your stories on the Poulsbo physician Narinder Duggal, under investigation for medical misconduct:
The City of Poulsbo is fortunate in that there are many helpful organizations in our community. These special groups are quick to step up and do extra work in order to get things accomplished.
Just because you use the word “science,” “scientist” or “scientific” multiple times doesn’t make your arguments valid (“Don’t ignore science behind GMOs,” page A4, June 7 Herald).
I support the growth of a local economy and I look at the Sawdust Hill Llama Farm as an agricultural-related community service establishment that clearly is about keeping dollars in Kitsap County.
The saying “all politics is local” goes to 9/11 truth. Local first-responders failing this litmus test of the greatest crime of history should be dismissed.
Sen. Murray’s bill on sexual assault in the military comes up short.
What a wonderful day on June 1 for the 60th birthday of North Kitsap Little League.
I can’t thank you enough for the article that appeared in today’s Herald about Poulsbo Post 245 as well as the editorial opinion
After activist attempts failed to legislate laws in California with a labeling food campaign to promote fear of certain types of food, the debate has now moved on to our state.
I was pleased to hear that a roundabout on the west side of the Agate Pass Bridge is “not a done deal” (page A1, May 17 Herald).
The Board of Directors of North Kitsap Little League would like to extend their thanks to all of the amazing businesses that stepped up to sponsor our recent Diamond Jubilee.
The family of Lila Frodel would like to thank the staff at Messenger House on Bainbridge Island for their care of our loved one for the past two and a half years.
Thanks are due yet again to community volunteers in Kingston for support of the Village Green’s Cinco de Mayo party.
What a frightening 24 hours for our family. We have heard from all eight families in Oklahoma.
Did you use algebra today? Did you use music and art? I don’t know when I last used algebra, but every day I hear music and experience art.
North Kitsap County’s open space and recreation grant requests have so far fared very well in the Senate and House versions of our state budget negotiations.
