Fortunate to have this type of emergency care available

I was recently admitted to Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton due to heart failure. I arrived by Poulsbo Fire Department ambulance. A big thank you to the quick response from the paramedics at that station!

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank the hospital staff, nurses and surgeons for their efforts and professional service in attending to my urgent care. I personally found that our local emergency and intensive care personnel were all above and beyond the skills needed to meet the challenges of my emergency.

We are very fortunate to have this type of emergency care available on the Kitsap Peninsula and not be forced to travel to the other side of the sound.

The future expansion and relocation of the hospital to the new Silverdale location will not only provide an improved facility, but also the care equal to or greater than can be found elsewhere and will certainly enhance patient care and services.
