Concern about water pollution is overblown

With regard to the article on Standing Rock:

I think that the concern about water pollution is overblown. There are thousands of miles of safe pipelines in the U.S. As for sacred lands, I am sure the pipeline can be diverted around the most sacred sites. Using pipelines is safer and more efficient than train cars and trucks.

As for the coal port, I am in favor of it because it will not only create or keep present jobs in the industry but improve our balance of trade. Coal cars are covered so as to keep the dust from blowing around. This industry is very important to our economy. I am sure a compromise can be reached, as always.
